Since 2010, YUKKURi of Anivents Unlimited has DJed at every anime convention and played every genre of music, even developing new genres and running their own anime conventions just to play them. ...Okay, well not really, but as a child of the 90's during a time when "techno remixes" were just as abundant on Napster as viruses disguised as Linkin Park songs, YUKKURi's passion for electronic music has always been a part of their life while growing up in Victoria, British Columbia.

YUKKURi discovered DJing as an outlet for that passion back in 2010 after watching a video on YouTube of a DJ playing Caramelldansen in front of a crowd of over 2,000 people at an anime convention in Seattle that year, and then they somehow ended up getting into Happy Hardcore soon afterwards. YUKKURi has also been involved in event planning with their local anime convention, Tsukino-Con, including running their Cosplay Contest for some reason, among many other things.

With over a decade of DJing and event-planning experience under their belt, YUKKURi wears a pretty large belt. YUKKURi is also terrible at writing about themself, as you can probably tell from having read all of this so far. In addition to providing programming content and DJ performances for anime conventions, YUKKURi also runs independent events through Anivents Unlimited, including events similar to the one that this bio is currently being used for.

As someone with an addiction to the cheesiest of high-energy Happy Hardcore and an insatiable love for entertaining massive audiences, YUKKURi's performances should be enjoyed with caution by those who may be lactose-intolerant. Side effects may include sweating, tension in the face muscles due to excessive smiling, and a prolonged state of euphoria during the course of the performance. Anyone who experiences these symptoms is advised to take it easy, and keep it cheezy!
